Where to look

Strawberry-tree scrub; comes down to fermenting figs and grapes and ignores flowers entirely.

Worth knowing

Europe's largest butterfly and a strict one-plant specialist: no strawberry tree, no pasha. The caterpillar feeds right through the mild coastal winter, which is why the species stops where the frost starts.
