Village chimneys and poles across Posavina; ΔigoΔ holds more nests than houses.
The nest is reused and rebuilt every year and can outweigh a small car after a decade. Storks feed on flooded meadow, so a dry spring in the Sava basin shows up as smaller broods two months later.
